We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic maintenance person to join our Facilities team. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficient operation of our site buildings and facilities. The position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including planned maintenance, painting and decorating, reactive repairs, and gardening tasks. Additionally, the role includes support for the fire management plan and carryout routine checks throughout the site.
In this role, you'll also be responsible for responding to emergencies outside of regular hours and covering caretaking duties when the onsite caretaker is away or on leave.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of GCSE qualifications and either hold or be willing to obtain a Pool Planter Operators qualification and a First Aiders certificate. Relevant experience in a similar role is essential, along with a hands-on, adaptable approach and a willingness to learn. Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills are crucial, and candidates should be prepared to offer flexible working hours.
