Support Assistants on Gloucester house
Full and Part Time (16 - 42 hours per week)
£20,677.89- £22,586.44 per annum (Pro rata for part time)

Treloar’s is one of the largest specialist schools and colleges in the UK for children & young people with physical disabilities. We are looking to recruit people who are passionate about supporting children & young adults with physical disabilities, to work as Student Support Assistants for our residential house, Gloucester. These roles include assisting the students in the residential houses and in independent life skills.
You will need to hold a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or be willing to work towards this. You must also have a good level of general education, including a minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English. You will need to be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team whilst having the ability to work under pressure.

Key duties and responsibilities:
- Helping students with all aspects of daily living
- Assisting with nutritional and feedings requirements
- Supporting students to reach their goals
- Working closely with Healthcare Professionals
- Documenting care using our user-friendly mobile notes
- Personal care including washing, dressing and toileting
